Understand the structure
Before anything ships, I map the system — what it has to do, where it will fail, which decisions are load-bearing. Most projects skip this and pay for it later.
Architect for the failure mode
I design for what happens at month six, not the demo. Memory, identity, routing, recovery — the layers that keep a system alive after the first model swap.
Build it, ship it, run it
Hands-on delivery. I write the code with Claude and Codex as engineering partners, deploy it live, and stay until it's actually working in production.

Documented, owned, and maintainable. If you want me on retainer to keep evolving it, I do that too. Mocha has been my own retainer for a year.
